Sales Manager- Real Estate

  • Day to day management of the sales team to ensure they are on track for achieving KPI’s.
  • Setting sales KPI’s to manage sales activity within the team.
  • Working with sales executives and assistants on approaches to close sales
  • Training the sales team on sales techniques
  • Ensuring the sales team is updated & resourced effectively with all appropriate sales data.

  • Calling clients to make follow ups.

  • Advising clients on the suitability and value of the property they are visiting and act as the face of the company and offer exemplary customer service to all clients at the time of purchase.
  • Accompany clients during site & project visits and inspections of the property
  • Maintaining and servicing existing customer portfolio to realize revenue
  • Establishing and maintaining excellent customer relationships by providing an efficient, reliable, friendly and courteous service to all customers.
  • Communicating effectively with customers and maintain up to date information regarding new initiatives, prices, promotions, new product listings,
  • Providing information feedback, on customer requirements and competitor activity.
  • Assisting in establishing plans and strategies to expand the customer base
  • Maintaining contact with clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Contribute and make use of company digital resources such as blog, newsletter, social media and others to grow and close property sales.
  • Managing the company’s social media accounts and posting relevant content.
  • Arranging for the company to attend relevant industry events and conferences.
  • Reporting on activities towards targets to the company directors.
  • Researching potential target industries and customers.
  • Attending meetings with customers alongside sales consultants.
  • Putting together a content marketing strategy for the company.
  • Making sure the company is Search Engine Optimized to maximize inbound sales opportunities.

 

Qualifications

  • Degree or its equivalent in sales or  
  • Well-groomed and well-spoken with a strong database of clients
  • 3years’ sales experience in a real estate company
  • experience in selling value -added and development ready plots, middleto high-end commercial and residential property will be an added advantage.
  • Should have a proven ability to achieve and surpass sales targets
  • Must be able to work under minimal supervision, excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and networking skills
  • Impeccable integrity

Assistant Sales Manager- Real Estate

The principal duties are to assist the sales Manager-Real Estate in the:-

  • Ensuring client and Customer payments are done on time and proper and timely statements are provided

FINANCE OFFICER

Function:  Finance

Level:  Level 2

Main job purpose

  • The key Finance business partner reporting to the Finance Director
  • Ledger Controller – Responsible for monthly general ledger account activity; journal entries; accruals; cost allocations; employee benefit accounts and reconciliation of various accounts.
  • Cash Management – Responsible for Cash collections; cashflow management; bank reconciliations and various Treasury activities such as Cash receipting; interbank cash transfers; creditor payment on time; bank liaison; facility arrangement and management among others
  • Tax Compliance – Support Tax compliance for various taxes as per due dates – PAYE; WHT; Corporate Tax; Advance Tax; VAT etc
  • Month End Closure & Reporting – Responsible for month end closing process and preparation of financial statements (P&L; BS; CF) for various users (CFO; CEO; Auditors)
  • Management Reports – Responsible for generation and maintenance of management reports such as Sales summary; Customer Accounts; Performance forecasts and all related analytics
  • Controls & Compliance – Assist company in executing company policies; Controls and compliance procedures

Key interactions

  1. CFO – Work closely with CFO to achieve sound Ledger control; general financial management and decision support role
  2. CEO – Work closely with CEO to execute transactions; manage cash and produce accurate and timely reports for decision making
  3. Customers – Interactions with customers in receipting payments; updating their accounts and communicating accordingly
  4. Banks – Work closely with banks as the primary liaison support partner
  5. Vendors – Interactions with vendors in the course of payment processing and updates
  6. Internal customers – work with various internal customers on staff accounts; customer and vendor statements etc

Key Accountabilities

  • Ledger Controller – Responsible for monthly general ledger account activity; journal entries; accruals; cost allocations; employee benefit accounts and reconciliation of various accounts. Ensure timely posting of transactions on a daily basis and avail ledger reports on a weekly basis. Cash and bank entries to be posted before cash authorisation and appropriate filing be done
  • Cash management – Responsible for Cash collections; cashflow management; bank reconciliations and various Treasury activities such as Cash receipting; interbank cash transfers; creditor payment on time; bank liaison; facility arrangement and management among others. Ensure no bounced cheques; accurate cash reports are circulated daily
  • Tax Compliance – Support Tax compliance for various taxes as per due dates – PAYE; WHT; Corporate Tax; Advance Tax; VAT etc. Maintain a calendar of tax compliance dates and ensure timely remittances are made
  • Month End Closure & Reporting – Responsible for month end closing process and preparation of financial statements for various users (CFO; CEO; Auditors). Plan and execute month end closure including a credible cut off process for sales in liaison with partners. Ledger to be fully updated by 4th of each month
  • Performance management & Analytics – Key source of financial performance management reports –such as sales reports; cashflows forecasts; investment analytics and monitoring of KPIs
  • Compliance – Assist company in executing company policies and compliance procedures. As the custodian of policies, lead by example in policy compliance, updates and communication
  • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable process lead – Supervise and guide the two processes providing timely updates and reports to drive right decisions
  • Payroll – Consolidate the payroll inputs and prepare or support the preparation of the payroll in lign with authorized staff contracts. Closely monitor obligations such as loans/advances and effect them accordingly with close reference to CFO on tax implications
  • Audit – Continuously prepare files and reports in formats required by external auditors and support the field and offsite audit activities
  • Support and Participate in the Annual company budgeting and forecasting process
  • Respond to internal and external customer requests accordingly
  • Other corporate accounting duties and supervision of duties as instructed from time to time

Knowledge & Skills

  • Relevant Degree with at least CPA Part 1
  • Strong understanding of Ledger accounting and control
  • Understanding of Tax and compliances required
  • Working knowledge of month end closure and preparation of Financial statements
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other key stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills, Excel modelling skills and attention to detail
  • Strong engagement, presentation and communication skills
  • Bias for action and ability to work under pressure

 

Experience required

  • Working experience within a Finance function
  • Experience with Sun system Accounting an added advantage
